Choosing your next read can sometimes be so overwhelming... especially when you have a large TBR. 

A great way of tackling this issue is a TBR jar... now I know a lot of you already have one of ours... but sometimes it takes sooooo much effot to think of prompts to fill the jar up with... it's like a vicious cycle. 

Here's 30 TBR prompts to pop in your jar! 

  • A book you’ve owned the longest but haven’t read.

  • The book you were most excited to buy—but never started.

  • A book with a beautiful cover you couldn’t resist.

  • The shortest book on your shelf.

  • A book in a genre you don’t usually read.

  • A book by an author you’ve never read before.

  • A book you started once and put down. Try again!

  • The book with the most dust on the cover.

  • A book that was a gift or recommendation.

  • A book with a color in the title or cover.

  • The first book in a series you already own.

  • A book that intimidates you (length, topic, reputation).

  • A book with a one-word title.

  • A book with a map or family tree inside.

  • A book you meant to read last year (or the year before…).
